Reference Color Grading and Critical Evaluation
XCM Series monitors are designed for correction correction and all other post production, and critical field image evaluation applications. Each model has a full HD IPS panel with 10bit color depth (1.07 Billion colors or tones) and wide color gamut. Each has the ability to reproduce every color of the source video by using high density precision 14-bit 33x33 3D-LUT color calibration. Each monitor is individually calibrated for uniformity correction and color temp temperature compensation.
To ensure the high quality day to day consistency, each model employs a unique system for ambient correction. Unlike virtually all other evaluation grade monitors there are no noisy fans in the XCM models to interfere with the tranquil noise ambience of the the color correction or post production suite.
Two models are available based on reference grade requirements. The XCM240 has high color saturation and uses modulated RGB-LED Backlight technology, while the XCM250 is based on an industry standard AM-OLED screen.
XCM monitors meet Grade-1 standards and can be used for the demands of color critical monitoring.
